CNIPA: Fully Implementing the Electronic Patent Certificate

In order to implement the decision and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on strengthening the construction of digital government, and continue to improve the level of informatization  and  facilitation  of  patent  examination  services,  CNIPA  has  fully  implemented  the computerization of patent certificates since February 7, 2023 (inclusive). If the parties apply for and obtain patent authorization in electronic form, the electronic patent certificate shall be downloaded through the patent business processing system; If the application is made in paper form and the patent authorization is obtained, the electronic patent certificate shall be downloaded in accordance with the method notified in the Notice on Obtaining the Electronic Patent Certificate.
